“I don’t think I should be walking in town right now.” murmured Eugene to Rapunzel as they were doing they’re normal walk.
Usually the couple would would go at sundown when all the villagers would be in there homes, but Rapunzel insisted that they should do it when they were all out, so they can see that Eugene has changed.
”cmon Eugene, don’t be a scaredy cat around these people - yeah I know you stole from them but at least let them see you changed!” Rapunzel pleaded

Eugene's eyebrows furrowed together, he loved Rapunzel's optimism, he really did but he also knew change just couldn't happened overnight with the villagers. People always looked at him with contempt and scorn, just waiting for the opportunity for him to slip up, his 'rescue' of the lost princess should've earned some points but all they did was try to corrupt the act. With a deep breath, he tried to put a brave face, at least for Rapunzel.
"I'm not scared, more liked paranoid, people usually only see the cracks or assume ulterior motives when it comes to me and I don't know what I do, if I was accused of something simply for standing in the vicinity. And you know i am not a person to sit down and take a punch or criticism. I'll try my very best to show them the new me, but it's gonna take time and some patience on their part". Eugene linked their fingers together. Sauntering them forward the town.

Rapunzel held his hand, “it’s going to be ok, trust me!” Eugene did in fact trusted her, because why not, he’s the only girl that he loves and will love her always.
”Well when you’re with me, I’ll do whatever you want me too.”
Rapunzel beamed and gave him a little kiss, “thank you.”

So far so good, Eugene thought as they trolled into town, everything was going well. Until this one kid showed up.
"Evening, Highness!" The little girl with scruffy white hair and one green strand flowing through it. A mischievous smirk grew on the child, "So, is it true you're just with the princess to still her chastity? Everyone's have been talking reasons of why you're with the princess ".
